Cotton Factory Was I There?

I won a Silver Award on this piece from AdFed, a professional competition, and it was one of my first Photoshop assignments. We had to take a historical picture and Photoshop ourself into it. I had a classmate take a picture of me standing against a window in our classroom so I would be at the right angle that I wanted. I changed it to black and white and cut myself out. I adjusted the levels, added shadows, used the burn tool on my clothes, and added grain to get this look. Overall, it was a fun assignment and I really enjoyed the challenge.
